What usually slows down an ADCC tournament

When categories, brackets, overtime scoring and mat flow are split across tools, organizers lose time on manual fixes.

Submission-only categories need the right bracket format from the start

Some submission-only events run single elimination with one 3rd-place bout, others award two bronze medals - either way, the bracket needs to be built for that format from the start, not adjusted after the draw is generated.

Draws need a scoreboard that actually supports overtime

When a match ends without a submission, mat staff need a scoreboard that can start an overtime round without switching tools.

Multiple mats: fight order and results need to stay connected

With multiple mats, fight order, scoreboard handling and result publishing need to stay connected.

Run your ADCC tournament with less manual work

From registration to finals, MartialMatch keeps the ADCC workflow in one place.

01

Start with registration and an ADCC category structure

Open registration, collect competitor data, and prepare your category tree for ADCC or Submission Fighting - or import it directly from the built-in ADCC World Championship and ADCC Open category templates. With the discipline assigned from the start, the next steps stay predictable.

02

Set up ADCC brackets for your medal format

When registration closes, configure the discipline package, choose the ADCC scoreboard, and set the bracket type per category: single elimination with one 3rd-place bout for the standard ADCC format, Olympic-style repechage for UWW Grappling, or two-pool and double-elimination brackets, each configurable for one or two 3rd places.

03

Run fights with a dedicated overtime scoreboard

On event day, the ADCC scoreboard tracks points, penalties and submissions, and starts an overtime round when a match ends without a finish. Once the category is complete, the system immediately presents full results without copying data between tools.

Common questions from ADCC organizers

What is ADCC?

ADCC stands for Abu Dhabi Combat Club. It is the largest submission fighting organization, but the name also describes the unique ruleset used in competition: each match is split into two halves - the first rewards submission attempts without scoring points, the second is scored, and if no winner is determined by submission or points, the match goes into overtime. MartialMatch supports running ADCC tournaments under these rules from registration to results.

Does MartialMatch support ADCC overtime rules?

Yes. The ADCC scoreboard supports an overtime round when a match ends in a draw without a submission.

Can I run a bracket with two 3rd places, for events that award two bronze medals?

Yes. Two-pool and double-elimination bracket types both produce two 3rd places for events that award two bronze medals. The standard ADCC format - single elimination with one 3rd-place bout - is also supported.

Can I try the ADCC scoreboard before setting up an event?

Yes. You can try the dedicated ADCC scoreboard for free, without creating an account, directly from this page.
