What are the registration statuses?

In the MartialMatch system, each registered competitor can be in one of several registration statuses. Each of these statuses has its own meaning and affects what happens to the competitor in the system. Below is a detailed description of each of them:

🟡 Disqualification due to payment

This is the default status in which a competitor is placed after registration. The competitor may appear on the start lists depending on the option chosen by the organizer. Such a competitor will not proceed to the brackets.

🔵 Candidate

Next status is candidate. Registration in this status causes the competitor to appear in the brackets and on the fight lists.

• Organizer can manually approve the competitor as a "candidate".
• If the competition has online payment integration enabled, the competitor will be automatically approved as a "candidate" after making the payment.
• This allows the competitor to appear at the event. On the scoreboards, such a competitor will be displayed as unverified, which means that the fight cannot start, and the timer on the scoreboard cannot be started.
• If the fight is completed despite this, the other verified competitor simply proceeds.
• Such a fight is not included in the rankings.
• The unverified status does not entitle the competitor to receive a medal or be included in the competition results (e.g., through an automatic loss when there are 2 people in the category).
• On the fight lists, such a competitor is marked as Unverified.

🟢 Verified

After successfully passing the verification, the competitor can proceed to the fight. On the fight lists, this can be recognized by the absence of any markings next to the competitor.

🔴 Disqualified

If the competitor does not pass the verification stage during the competition, e.g., due to lack of appropriate weight or required documents, their status changes to disqualified.

• Such a competitor cannot proceed to the fight and is not included in the competition results.
• The fight with a disqualified competitor on the scoreboards cannot be started, and the timer cannot be started.
• The wins against a disqualified competitor are not included in the rankings.
