MartialMatch is affordable and easy to use tournament software for combat sport events.
In the MartialMatch system, vouchers are special codes that athletes can use to register for competitions for free. Using a voucher causes the athlete’s registration to be automatically confirmed by the system. There is no need to wait for organizer approval or make an online payment.
🛠️ How to Create a Voucher?
After entering the organizer panel for a selected event, go to the Users tab and click on Vouchers.
The page will look like this:
On this page, you can create a new voucher and also browse existing ones.
When adding a new voucher, you need to specify the number of free registrations that can be used with this voucher.
⚠️ Note! One registration equals one weight category the athlete registers for. If an athlete wants to register for two categories, they will need to use two slots from the voucher.
🎯 How to Use a Voucher?
When the organizer has created at least one voucher, the option to use it will appear during the registration process.
- First, register the athlete for a category.
- Then click the I have a voucher! button. This button will only be visible if the organizer has created at least one voucher for the event.
A field will then appear where you can enter the voucher code. After entering the code and clicking the Confirm voucher button, the system will verify the voucher and assign it to your account.
Once confirmed, the voucher is assigned exclusively to your account and cannot be used by anyone else. A voucher can be used if:
- it has unused registration slots available,
- registration for the event the voucher is assigned to is open,
- if registration is closed, the voucher can only be used if the organizer enables payment or provides you with an invitation link for registration.
After confirming the voucher, a window will appear showing the registrations you’ve made. In this window, select the registrations you want to confirm using the voucher.
Once you’ve ensured that the correct registrations are selected, click OK.
You will then return to your list of registrations and see that the registration has been confirmed using the voucher.
⛔ Warning: Used voucher slots cannot be undone. If an athlete cancels their registration, the voucher slot will be lost.
