What is Kata?
Kata is a karate discipline where competitors perform a set sequence of techniques, judged by a panel of judges rather than fighting each other directly.
How does MartialMatch support Kata?

Scoring
Following WKF rules, the system drops the highest and lowest scores and calculates the final result from the remaining ones. In the discipline's scoreboard settings, organizers can choose whether the remaining scores are summed (default) or averaged.

Results
Results are updated live for each competitor. Event administrators can view all results on the results page in the event panel.
Judges scores
To score a competitor, click the Submit scores button. A window will appear where each judge can enter their score. Scores are saved automatically and included in the final ranking.
