Who acts as a controller for personal data?

Kamil Wylegała conducting business under the name of "Usługi IT Kamil Wylegała", residing at Zacisze 9, Krzyszkowo (62-090 Rokietnica, NIP: 7632072747, REGON: 520172649) (hereinafter also referred to as the “Data Controller”), acts as a Data Controller as defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”).

What kind of personal data are processed?

We process the data you provided during account registration, i.e. name and surname, e-mail address, year of birth, gender, nationality, contact telephone number, category, or club affiliation. What is more, we may also process data from the transfer confirmation, i.e. your home address and bank account number.

For what purposes and on what legal basis are your data processed?

Your data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • creating an account on the website (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract);
  • forwarding your competition application form to the competition organiser (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract);
  • making the following information available on the Website: starting lists for competitors, competition schedule, competition ladders and competition results (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract);
  • creating ranking lists of competitors (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing necessary for the performance of a contract);
  • forwarding competition fees or the proof of payment of competition fees to the competition organiser (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing necessary for the performance of a contract);
  • enable the organization of registration for a sports event (Article 6(1)(b) - processing for the performance of a contract);
  • issuing invoices and accepting payments (legal basis - Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR - performance of a contract and fulfillment of a legal obligation)
  • handling complaints and claims (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR – performance of a contract and compliance with a legal obligation);
  • if you have given such consent, phone contact at the telephone number provided in the form for the purpose of direct marketing of sports-related competitions and products by an entity cooperating with the Organizer or the Service Provider (legal basis - Article 6(1)(a) RODO in conjunction with Article 172 of the Telecommunications Law - your consent);
  • if you have given such consent to send commercial information in the field of sports-related competitions and products by an entity cooperating with the Organizer or Service Provider (legal basis - Article 6.1.a RODO in conjunction with Article 10.2 of the Act and provision of services by electronic means - your consent);
  • providing data to authorised state bodies (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation);
  • debt collection (legal basis - Article 6(1)(f) RODO - legitimate interest);
  • defense against claims (legal basis - Article 6(1)(f) RODO - legitimate interest);

Who can access your personal data?

Your personal data will be accessed by the Organiser, while access to your name, surname, category and club affiliation will also be given to persons other than the Organiser who have access to starting lists, ladders or competition results, since these data will be made public.

With your consent, your data may also be transferred to entities which cooperate with the Data Controller for the purposes of marketing and promoting sports competitions and products.

In addition, the Data Controller may transfer data to competent public authorities which are authorised to access them.

How long will your personal data be processed?

Your data will be stored for the duration of the contract for the provision of services by electronic means, i.e. for the duration of account registration on the website, and in terms of Users who are Organizers, the data processing period includes the period necessary to assert claims or defend against claims.

How are your personal data protected?

We assure you that we have adopted the technical and organisational measures necessary to ensure adequate protection of personal data prior to disclosure. For this purpose, we have implemented appropriate procedures and documents as well as ICT security measures.

What are your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data?

Data subjects whose personal data are processed by the Data Controller have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of his personal data or restriction of processing or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. They also have the right to withdraw consent and the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. The cases in which certain rights can be exercised are specified by generally applicable laws. The supervisory authority shall be the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection.

Do you need to provide your personal data?

Submission of personal data is completely voluntary, but refusal to do so or deletion of personal data would make it impossible for you to register an account or sign up for a competition. Submission of transfer data (if these data are not blurred and can be read) such as a home address or a bank account number is completely voluntary.

Additional information

The Data Controller shall not process your data by automated means, including profiling.

The Data Controller shall not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.
