
📝 User account registration

To register a competitor for an event in the MartialMatch application, you need a user account.
- On the main page, click Create account in the top right corner menu, or click Go to registration on the login page.
- Fill in all fields in the registration form. Also, mark the consents to process personal data, which allows event organizers to process your data (e.g., share results, brackets, etc.).
- When you finish, click the Send form button to confirm your registration.
- If the form is successfully submitted, you will be redirected to the main page of the website.
- Your account is now created. Proceed to the next steps.
✉️ Account activation
To use the system and register competitors for events, you must activate your account.
- Check the email inbox you used during registration. You should receive an email to confirm the activation of your account.
- Open the link (URL) from the email in your web browser.
- After opening the link, you should be redirected to the https://martialmatch.com login page, where you will see a message that your account has been activated.
- You can now log in to the system using the email and password you provided during registration.
ℹ️ If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. If you still cannot find it, you can request a new activation email by clicking Resend activation email on the login page. There is also a possibility that you made a typo in your email address during registration. In order to assign a new email to your account, click Change email.

⚠️ The buttons above the login form are only visible when you enter an email address that is not yet activated.
🗂️ Your competitors database

To register competitors for events, you must first add them to your own database, which is connected to your account in the system.
- After successfully logging in, go to the top right menu and click My competitors.
- On the My competitors page, click the Add competitor button.
- Fill in the form by providing the first name and last name of your competitor, along with the rest of the required data. Then click the Save button.
- If you wish, you can add more competitors to your database.

That's it. You're ready to register your competitors for selected events.
🏆 Registering competitors for an event
While logged into the system, you can register competitors from your database. Click on Event registrations in the top right menu.

You will see a list of available events you can register for. Choose an event by clicking its name.

You will be redirected to the event's registration page. Click Register your competitor.

A small window will appear, showing all competitors from your database. Click the Choose button next to a competitor's name to register them for a specific division available in the event. You can also select a different team/affiliation if needed.

Confirm your choice by clicking OK.
Your competitor(s) are now registered for the event. You will see your competitor in the table, and the chosen category will be visible. Additionally, you can send payment confirmation by clicking Send confirmation of payment and attaching a PDF file. There is also an option to pay online if the event organizer has enabled this feature.
