How to change a competitor's category or academy in a registration

Changing a competitor's registration

You can update a registered competitor's category or represented academy from the registration details. Changing either field does not change the registration date.

While registration is open

While registration is open, you can make these changes yourself:

1. Log in to your account.
2. In the top-right menu, choose Event registrations.

3. Select the event for which the competitor is registered.
4. Click Edit next to the relevant competitor.

5. In the dialog, select a different category, academy/team, or affiliation, then save the changes.

ℹ️ Only categories for which the competitor meets the organizer's requirements, such as age, gender, weight, or skill level, are available.

After registration has closed

After registration has closed, you normally cannot change the category or team yourself. Contact the event organizer and ask them to update the competitor's registration. Include the competitor's name and the category or team that should be selected.

ℹ️ An organizer can allow changes after the registration deadline until a date they set. They may limit this to competitors who are alone in their category. If Edit is disabled, contact the organizer.

Changing the academy/team for future registrations

Changing the academy/team or affiliation in your profile affects only future registrations - it does not change existing registrations or their categories. In the top-right menu, choose My profile, update the details, and click Save.
